Akkodis is seeking a Test Method Validation (TMV) Engineer – Medical Devices for a contract role based in Milpitas, CA. This role will support validation and quality initiatives by developing and executing test methods in a regulated medical device environment.
To be considered, candidates should have experience in Test Method Validation (TMV), Gage R&R / MSA, and working with measurement systems, along with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Pay Range: $40/hr. – $45/hr. on W2 (The pay rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)
TMV Engineer responsibilities include
- Develop and execute Test Method Validation (TMV) protocols and reports
- Create validation plans, test procedures, and acceptance criteria
- Perform Gage R&R (GRR) and Measurement System Analysis (MSA)
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and test methods
- Use measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and inspection equipment
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and R&D teams
- Generate audit-ready documentation in compliance with ISO and regulatory standards
- Support training on validated inspection and test methods
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in Test Method Validation (TMV)
- Strong knowledge of Gage R&R / MSA
- Experience in medical device or regulated industry
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Hands-on experience with measurement tools and inspection techniques
- Strong documentation and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with FDA regulations and ISO standards
- Experience in medical device manufacturing or quality engineering
- Experience working in cross-functional environments
