Associate Corporate Counsel — Commercial & Marketing | South Florida (Hybrid)

I'm working on a newly created Associate Corporate Counsel opening with a growing consumer-facing company in South Florida. The role exists because the business is expanding into new, highly regulated areas, and the legal team is growing alongside it.

The Role

• Reports directly to the General Counsel (who is tremendous!)
• Joins a lean in-house legal team (2 attorneys, 2 paralegals)
• Hybrid schedule — 3 days in office, 2 remote
• Base salary up to $140K, plus benefits

What You'll Do

• Review marketing, advertising, and consumer-facing materials for legal and regulatory compliance
• Draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements (vendor, supply, SOWs, NDAs, marketing, professional services, etc.)
• Handle consumer disputes, AG complaints, small claims, and attorney demand letters
• Support litigation, restrictive covenant enforcement, and outside counsel coordination
• Assist with regulatory, compliance, and strategic business initiatives as the company expands

Who We're Looking For

• 2–4 years of legal experience (law firm, in-house, or comparable)
• Active Bar admission in good standing — Florida preferred
• A true generalist mindset — the legal team follows the business team, so when the business pivots, legal pivots with it. Flexibility and adaptability are essential.
• Team player who's willing to roll up their sleeves on administrative tasks when needed — this is a lean team and everyone pitches in
• Strong organizational skills and comfortable working independently
• Familiarity with Practical Law's Co-Counsel product is a plus
• Sound judgment in distinguishing routine matters from issues requiring escalation
• Commercial contracts experience preferred; background in healthcare, retail, consumer services, privacy, e-commerce, or regulated industries is a plus but not required
