We’re Hiring: Senior Buyer (Onsite – Kenosha, WI) –

Leading sourcing strategy across key commodities

Driving cost, quality, and delivery improvements

Influencing inventory strategy and production continuity

Partnering cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, and Finance

Mentoring buyers and helping shape best-in-class procurement processes

Your decisions will directly impact production performance, customer satisfaction, and bottom-line results.

What You’ll Own

As a Senior Buyer, you will:

Lead strategic sourcing & supplier selection

• Evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and drive competitive advantage

Drive materials planning & inventory optimization

• Balance service levels, demand variability, and inventory investment

Analyze demand, costs, and market trends

• Build cost models, forecast material fluctuations, and lead cost savings initiatives

Champion supplier performance & relationships

• Improve delivery reliability, quality, and responsiveness

Serve as a team leader & mentor

• Train buyers, develop SOPs, and help shape team strategy

Partner with operations to solve real-time challenges

• Ensure materials availability and eliminate production disruptions

What We’re Looking For

5–7+ years in purchasing, materials planning, or supply chain

Experience in manufacturing or distribution environments

Strong ERP experience (JD Edwards a plus)

Knowledge of MRP, JIT, Kanban

Ability to read engineering drawings & build “should-cost” models

Advanced Excel skills + data-driven decision-making

Bonus: SQL knowledge or supply chain certifications (CPP, CPPM)
