NOW HIRING – VP OF OPERATIONS

Commercial Electrical & Construction Company

Circuit Electric & Construction Services is seeking an experienced VP of Operations to help lead and grow our expanding company. We are a family-owned business established in 1986, currently operating with approximately 50 employees and performing roughly $8-10 million annually in commercial electrical and construction work throughout Maryland, DC, and Virginia.

We are looking for a strong leader with real-world construction and operations experience who can help oversee daily operations, improve processes, manage teams, and assist in scaling the company to the next level.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day company operations
• Manage project managers, estimators, supervisors, and field operations
• Improve operational efficiency and accountability
• Assist with scheduling, staffing, and production management
• Review job costing, profitability, and project performance
• Help improve systems, communication, and workflow
• Work directly with ownership on company growth and strategy
• Support client relationships and project execution

Qualifications

• Strong construction and/or electrical industry background
• Experience managing operations in a construction-related business
• Knowledge of project management, estimating, scheduling, and job costing
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Ability to manage both office and field operations
• Experience overseeing multiple projects and teams simultaneously

Preferred Experience

• Commercial electrical or general construction background
• Experience in a $5M–$25M company environment
• Understanding of profitability, overhead, and operational performance
