Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Behavia Therapy
Tired of juggling a giant caseload with no time to do the work right? This role is built to be the opposite of that.
Behavia Therapy is expanding into a new North Bay region where cases come with more authorized hours per client. That means fewer clients on your caseload and real time to deliver the level of applied behavior analysis care families actually need. You'll start small, grow at a sensible pace, and help shape a region from the ground up.
About Behavia Therapy
We're a California-based ABA therapy provider focused on quality of care over volume. We work with children and families across the North Bay to deliver individualized autism treatment, and we're growing our clinical team in a way that protects both client outcomes and clinician sanity. This is an early-team opportunity in a brand new region, so the BCBA who steps in now will have real influence over how it's built.
Why this role stands out
- Fewer clients and more hours per client, so you get depth over volume
- Build your own schedule with no micromanaging
- Direct, indirect, and telehealth hours are all billable
- Choose W2 or 1099, whichever works for you
- First pick of your territory as the region splits into smaller areas down the road
Compensation and benefits
- $55 to $70 per hour depending on experience
- Mileage reimbursement
- Continuing education (CEU) support
- 401(k) with up to 4% match
- Cell phone reimbursement
- Genuinely flexible schedule
What you'll do
- Supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and oversee ABA treatment programs for clients with autism spectrum disorder
- Conduct behavioral assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Lead parent and caregiver training
- Deliver a mix of in-home, community-based, and telehealth sessions to families across Marin and Solano counties
The region
We cover Larkspur, San Rafael, Novato, Vallejo, Fairfield, and Vacaville. Early on you'd pick up cases across these cities as they come in. As the team grows, we'll divide this into smaller territories and you'll get first pick of where you want to land.
Qualifications
- Active BCBA certification (required)
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field
- Experience with payers such as Catalight (Kaiser), Partnership HealthPlan of California, and direct Medi-Cal preferred
- Spanish speaking is a strong plus, as many families in this region speak Spanish at home
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Comfortable covering a wider region in the short term
