Marketing and Community Liaison Specialist

Melbourne, Florida

Full-time · In-office (hybrid possible) Cross-functional · Patient-Centric

Emerge Weight Loss, LLC, is hiring a Community Relations Coordinator to bridge our Support and

Marketing teams. This is a full-time salaried position.

We are a reputable, fast-growing GLP-1 weight loss provider built on care, compassion, and community.

Our patients are at the center of everything we do, and our team is the heartbeat behind every

transformation. We work hard to make sure the warmth our patients feel from our team shows up

everywhere our community lives — in our social channels, in our patient communications, and in every

interaction in between.

About This Role

This is a multidimensional role for a natural multitasker — someone who works efficiently and

effectively across shifting priorities yet leads with the creative thinking that turns everyday work into

something memorable. The Marketing and Community Liaison Specialist sits at the intersection of two

of our most important departments: Support and Marketing. A cross-functional position designed for a

natural connector — someone who can make a patient feel cared for one moment, help us tell their

story the next and put thoughtful words behind it the moment after that.

You will be in our Melbourne office every day, embedded in the rhythm of our team, taking directions

from both our Marketing Director and our Operations leadership. You will be the person who hears

what is happening in our Patient Experience department and helps us reflect it authentically — in our

content, in our articles, in our internal documents, and in every interaction our community has with us.

This role is built for someone who pivots easily, executes cleanly on what is asked of them, and brings

their own initiative to the table. You will take direction beautifully, and you will also notice the things no

one assigned to you and run with them.

You will have the opportunity to engage with our patients both online and in person. It is a

heart-and-hands role for someone who loves people, loves storytelling, and loves the

energy of an in-office team.

What You Will Do

A full scope of responsibilities will be shared during the interview process. At a high level, this role

• Community engagement — online and in person, building real relationships with our patient

community.

• Content creation — capturing moments, designing on-brand graphics and short-form video.

• Writing — articles, blog posts, internal and external documents, and patient communications.

• Cross-functional marketing support — working closely with both the Marketing Director and

Operations leadership on additional projects as needed.

• Acting as a bridge between Support and Marketing — surfacing patient insights and helping us

reflect them authentically.

This is a cross-trained, dynamic role. Day to day will vary, and that is part of what makes it the right fit

for the right person.

What We Are Looking For

We care more about who you are than what is on your resume. These qualities are non-negotiable:

• Open-minded — excited to wear multiple hats and learn new skills.

• Flexible — pivots easily with shifting priorities; comfortable with ambiguity and new direction.

• Takes direction and takes initiative — executes cleanly on what management assigns AND brings

initiative to the work no one assigned.

• Creative — sees possibilities everywhere; brings new ideas, not just executes old ones.

• Go-getter — proactive, resourceful, moves things forward without being chased.

• Outside-the-box thinkers - bring fresh thinking to old problems.

• Team player — generous, low-ego, make everyone around them better.

• Strong writer — a confident writer with a natural voice — can draft an article, a patient

newsletter, or a polished internal document with equal ease.

• Heart for people — genuinely energized by connection and helping people.

• Natural communicator — connects naturally with our community in a real, authentic, engaging

way.

• Aligned with our core values — leads with compassion, integrity, and patient-first thinking in

every interaction.

Helpful Skills (Bonus Points)

None of these are required, but each will help you hit the ground running:

• Experience with social media management (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok).

• Comfortable in Canva for graphic design and social templates.

• Comfortable in CapCut (or similar) for short-form video editing.

• Writing samples — blog posts, articles, newsletters, or any work you are proud of.

• Fast learner — picks up new tools, platforms, and workflows quickly.

• Prior experience in healthcare, wellness, hospitality, or any patient-facing role.

• Photography or videography instincts — knows how to capture a moment.

Why You Will Love This Role

• A mission-driven team where our work genuinely changes lives.

• A warm, collaborative in-office culture where you are seen and supported.

• Variety — no two days look the same.

• Direct mentorship from our Marketing Director and Operations leadership.

• Real room to grow as the business grows.
