We have an on-site opportunity for you to join our team in Shoreline, WA, that upholds the high standards expected of a large facility that supports residents with intellectual disabilities. The job is located in the Commissary Warehouse of Fircrest Residential Habilitation Center. This position will focus on receiving, processing purchases, maintaining fuel management system, create open purchase orders, supporting the warehouse at times with stocking, pulling orders, purchasing, delivering, supporting Dietary warehouse, cycle counts.

King County employees receive 5% premium pay in addition to the advertised salary and are eligible to receive a free ORCA card for transportation use. Opportunities performed on-site at this work location at least three days a week may be eligible for an additional 5% premium pay in addition to the advertised salary.
Some Of What You’ll Do
- Responsible for sourcing, ordering, inspecting, receiving, stocking, and issuing inventories.
- Operates the central receiving point for the facility.
- Inputs receipts timely and forwards to fiscal office for timely vendor payments
- Performs the procurement, warehousing, and distribution functions of consumable supplies, equipment, and materials in accordance with state laws and requirements.
What we’re looking for
An Associates of Arts Degree in Purchasing management, Business Administration, or closely allied field AND one year of full-time purchasing experience.
Full-time experience as a purchasing professional will substitute on a year-for-year basis.
