Business Analyst - Payments

Location: Iseline, NJ and Charlotte, NC Onsite

This role requires someone who has migrated swift messaging to ISO 20022 ( this is the primary role needed)

• Lead strategic planning and roadmap development for payment modernization initiative.
• Lead complex business and technical analysis for payment system initiatives, focusing on wire transfers, Fedwire, CHIPS and SWIFT network integrations
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to define requirements, map processes, and design solutions that align with regulatory, compliance and operational standards.
• Effectively collaborate with senior business and technology stakeholders, interfacing teams in execution planning, systems development, integrations, cutover planning and support.
• Analyze and document current and future state workflows, identifying gaps and recommending improvements for payment processing, settlement, and reconciliation
• Serve as Subject matter expert (SME) for ISO 20022 payment message formats, validation rules, and exception handling
• Lead the rollout of new payment platforms and upgrades, including migration planning, QA testing and parallel/shadow runs
• Liaise with technology. Operation and business stakeholders to resolve complex issues and ensure seamless integration of new tools.
• Prepare and deliver clear documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, process maps and training materials
• Experience in Agile SDLC, technical analysis and Business stakeholder management
