Flight Test Technician

Hi,

Akkodis is seeking a Flight Test Technician for an Aviation company located in Victorville, CA. The Flight Test Technician will install, maintain, and troubleshoot various types of instrumentation.

You will work in a team environment to conduct jet engine flight testing in accordance with established flight test principles to achieve safe flight operations.

Pay Range: $50-$60/HR. Contract position! 1st shift! Great opportunity with a great company!

Flight Test Technician job responsibilities include:

• Be capable of following procedures and learning specific software applications
• Working with transducers, thermocouples, wiring and data recording equipment in an experimental aircraft for flight tests according to engineering specifications.
• Have the ability to contribute and participate as a member of the flight test team for jet engine testing, requiring teamwork and collaborative problem solving in a multi-team environment
• Must be able to use time domain reflectometer, digital voltmeter and oscilloscope
• Able to do pre and post flight inspections
• Operate scissor lifts, tugs, small and large forklifts, etc.
• Strong organizational and communications skills
• Ability to read and understand Company and Manufacturer Manuals
