This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced mortgage environment, enjoys managing details and communication, and takes pride in helping loans move smoothly through the pipeline.

You’ll work closely with a Top 1% producing mortgage team to assist with file review, borrower communication, loan preparation, documentation management, pipeline flow, and overall team operations.

This is not an entry-level role. We are looking for someone who can step in quickly, take ownership, and contribute inside an established, high-volume mortgage team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with prequalification preparation, borrower communication, and file organization
  • Help structure and prepare files for smooth transition through processing and underwriting
  • Manage and monitor incoming applications, documentation, and pipeline activity

What Success Looks Like in This Role

  • Staying on top of communication and pipeline flow in real time
  • Managing files, documentation, and follow-up with urgency and accuracy
  • Taking ownership of tasks and helping move loans efficiently through the process
  • Supporting a high-producing team with professionalism, consistency, and strong follow-through
  • Thinking proactively and helping solve problems before they become issues
  • Being a dependable, positive team player who contributes to the success of the entire team

Qualifications

  • Experience with Encompass strongly preferred
  • Please note: This is not an entry-level position. Applicants without current or prior mortgage industry experience will not be considered.
  • NMLS license is a plus — or willingness to obtain licensure with company support

  • Ability to analyze tax returns, income, assets, and supporting borrower documentation
  • Strong communication and professional client interaction skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
