Business Immigration Associate Attorney

Our growing immigration law firm is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Immigration Associate Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience handling employment-based immigration matters and possess excellent legal writing, organizational, communication, and client-service skills.

Responsibilities

Manage a diverse caseload of employment-based immigration matters, mainly PERM labor certifications, NIW and I-140 immigrant petitions, adjustment of status applications, and other business immigration filings, including H-1B/L-1/E-2/TN. Prepare and review applications, petitions, legal briefs, responses to government requests, and supporting documentation. Conduct legal research and analyze complex immigration issues. Communicate regularly with clients, employers, government agencies, and team members regarding case strategy and case status. Meet with clients virtually and in person to gather information and provide legal guidance. Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with filing deadlines. Work independently while effectively managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and/or LL.M from an accredited law school. Admission to any State Bar and good standing required. Minimum of 1–2 years of immigration law experience, preferably with business immigration matters. Strong academic credentials and excellent legal writing skills. Exceptional organizational, analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and meet deadlines. Professional, dependable, self-motivated, and client-focused approach. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Fluency in both English and Spanish, including the ability to read, write, and speak Spanish proficiently.

Compensation
