Vice President of Product Management

We are hiring for our client- a well-funded AI startup creating innovative products at the intersection of web applications and modern AI. Their goal is to build seamless, delightful personalization experiences that enhance everyday life through trusted services.

The Role

They are seeking their first VP of Product Management to define and execute their product vision. You will work closely with founders, engineering, and design to build from 0→1. This is a hands-on leadership position requiring strong product judgment, technical fluency, and startup experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Own product strategy, roadmap, and execution from concept to launch.
• Partner daily with engineering on code reviews, specs, and prototypes.
• Define MVPs, run experiments, and achieve product-market fit.
• Support enterprise sales through customer discovery and GTM strategy.
• Establish lightweight product processes and build the product team.

What We’re Looking For

• 15+ years of product management experience, including senior/executive roles.
• Proven success building products from 0→1 with measurable traction.
• Hands-on operator comfortable in engineering standups and technical discussions.
• Strong AI tool fluency (Claude Code, etc.) and shipping instinct.
• Technical fluency to discuss AI/ML architecture and system tradeoffs.
• Excellent product taste focused on UX, performance, and reliability.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous startup environments.
• BA/BS required; technical degree preferred.

Nice to Have

• Experience with consumer products sold to enterprises.
• Prior founding PM role at early-stage startups.
• AI consumer product shipping experience.
• Engineering or design background.
