Role Description

We are hiring for a full-time OR part-time, on-site Licensed Funeral Director position in Schenectady, NY. The Funeral Director will be responsible for coordinating and managing funeral and memorial services, communicating with families to arrange personalized services, and providing compassionate support to clients. Additional responsibilities include embalming, preparing loved ones for services, and ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Embalming and funeral preparation techniques
• Familiarity with operations and protocols within Funeral Homes
• Strong skills in Family Services and providing compassionate care to grieving individuals
• Excellent verbal and written Communication skills
• Outstanding Customer Service abilities to build trust and maintain respectful client relationships
• Valid Funeral Director license in the state of New York
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
