Position Overview

NUBOXX is looking for a highly energetic, community-driven Community & Events Marketing Manager to lead local marketing initiatives, member engagement, and grassroots event activations. This role is responsible for growing brand awareness, increasing local community involvement, generating leads and prospects, and converting interest into memberships.

The ideal candidate thrives in social environments, loves building relationships, and knows how to create experiences that bring people together. This person will own local partnerships, community activations, and events designed to attract new members and strengthen the NUBOXX brand presence.

Key ResponsibilitiesCommunity Building & Member Engagement

• Develop and execute initiatives that strengthen the NUBOXX community and member experience
• Build relationships with current members to increase retention, referrals, and participation
• Create programs that encourage member involvement, social engagement, and brand advocacy
• Foster a welcoming, inclusive, high-energy culture inside and outside the gym

Events & Grassroots Marketing

• Plan and execute community-based events that drive brand awareness and lead generation
• Punch in the Park
• Beer & Boxing
• Outdoor workouts
• Community fitness pop-ups
• Local wellness collaborations
• Coordinate logistics, vendors, permits, partnerships, and event promotion
• Represent NUBOXX at local events, festivals, and networking opportunities

Partnerships & Local Outreach

• Build strategic partnerships with local businesses, breweries, parks, apartment communities, wellness brands, and community organizations
• Identify opportunities for cross-promotions and co-hosted events
• Develop referral and partnership programs that generate new prospects

Lead Generation & Membership Growth

• Drive attendance and participation that results in new membership sign-ups
• Capture leads from events and community activations
• Work closely with sales/front desk/coaches to convert prospects into members
• Track event performance, lead generation, and conversion metrics

Marketing Support

• Assist with promoting events and community initiatives across social media and email marketing
• Capture content from events for use in marketing campaigns
• Help maintain a strong local brand presence online and in the community

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in community marketing, event marketing, fitness marketing, or grassroots brand activation
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple events and projects simultaneously
• Comfortable working flexible hours including evenings and weekends for events
• Passion for fitness, wellness, and community-building
• Experience in social media and local marketing is a plus
• Self-starter with creative ideas and strong execution skills
