Akkodi's is seeking a Test Automation Engineer / Project Quality Engineer for a 6 Months contract position with a client located in Round Rock, TX. Ideally looking for applicants with a strong working knowledge or experience with C# .NET coding skills; e xperience on Visual Studio & Azure Pipelines.
Job Title : Test Automation Engineer / Project Quality Engineer
Location : Hybrid role in Round Rock, TX - Onsite 4 days per week with Friday work from home
Duration : 6 Months contract
Shift Timings
1st Shift M-F 8:00 Am - 5:00 pm
Alternate Shifts Available/Training Shift Details.
Pay Range: $40/hr - $55.90/hr on W2 (without benefits), the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location and other factors.

Test Automation Engineer

In this role you’ll have successful candidates will research, analyze and advocate for technologies and architectures to meet the wide range of solutions required from the team.
Qualifications

- Bachelors’ degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Chemical Engineering or related engineering degree and 4+ years of relevant experience or a masters’ degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Chemical Engineering or related engineering degree and 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience testing embedded software products.
- Experience designing and developing test cases from a user perspective.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
Responsibilities
- Our teams work together in an Agile environment to ensure our chosen work schedules enable our creativity and productivity as we serve the needs of our customers.
- Collaborate - Foster a creative atmosphere, review and provide detailed feedback on peers’ test plans and test designs and participate in agile activities like sprint planning and retrospectives. Take part in Hackathons, Tech-talks, and Communities of Practice with like-minded people.
- Innovate - Develop technologies to maintain our market leadership using the latest tools and frameworks.
- Automate - Write automated integration tests and system level tests to continue building our automation pipeline and a release-ready product.
- Iterate - Help the scrum team continuously improve its environment and processes. Write software tests in accordance with requirements and specifications and use best practices to build in high-quality. Help debug and validate software issues on the latest and greatest unreleased products as well as those encountered by customers.
- Senior level test automation engineer.
- Developer with emphasis on testing automation and experience with AI.

Education & Experience
