Project Quality Engineer

Akkodis is seeking Project Quality Engineer in ROUND ROCK,TX(hybrid). Ideally looking for someone C# .NET coding skills along with experience testing embedded software products and have exp designing and developing test cases from a user perspective

Pay Range: $52/hr. - $55.90/hour on W2 (without benefits) the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location and other factors.

Qualifications

• C# .NET coding skills.
• Experience on Visual Studio.
• Azure Pipelines.
• Tech Savvy- You stay on top of new technologies and look for ways to apply it.
• Always Curious- You take time to ask questions and define the problem.
• Bachelors’ degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Chemical Engineering or related engineering degree and 4+ years of relevant experience or a masters’ degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Chemical Engineering or related engineering degree and 2+ years of relevant experience
• Experience testing embedded software products.
• Experience designing and developing test cases from a user perspective.

Responsibilities

• Our teams work together in an Agile environment to ensure our chosen work schedules enable our creativity and productivity as we serve the needs of our customers.
• Collaborate - Foster a creative atmosphere, review and provide detailed feedback on peers’ test plans and test designs and participate in agile activities like sprint planning and retrospectives. Take part in Hackathons, Tech-talks, and Communities of Practice with like-minded people.
• Innovate - Develop technologies to maintain our market leadership using the latest tools and frameworks.
• Automate - Write automated integration tests and system level tests to continue building our automation pipeline and a release-ready product.
• Iterate - Help the scrum team continuously improve its environment and processes. Write software tests in accordance with requirements and specifications and use best practices to build in high-quality. Help debug and validate software issues on the latest and greatest unreleased products as well as those encountered by customers.
