Global Social Media Content Creator & Community Manager

Position Overview

Were looking for a creative, social savvy Global Social Media Content Creator & Commuity Manager to support the growth of a new entertainment-led social presence. This role will be focused on building and sustaining an always-on channel designed to drive engagement, cultural relevance, and audience growth through social-first content. This role will operate as both a creator & community lead  developing content, identifying trends, engaging audiences in real time, and helping establish a distinct brand voice across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a cross-platform social content strategy for TikTok, Instagram (Feed, Reels, Stories), and YouTube that aligns with brand goals and regional nuances.
• Create, storyboard, shoot, and edit compelling short- and long-form video and image content optimized for each platform, maintaining consistent brand voice and quality.
• Plan and maintain a global content calendar; coordinate localizations, translations, and regional publishing schedules to ensure timely, culturally sensitive releases.
• Actively manage and grow online communities by responding to comments, messages, and mentions; foster conversations, encourage user-generated content, and moderate to maintain a positive brand environment.
• Monitor platform trends, viral formats, and emerging features; rapidly prototype and test new content ideas to capitalize on opportunities for reach and engagement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, PR, and design to align campaigns, share insights, and amplify launches and promotions.
• Use analytics and social listening tools to measure performance, report on KPIs (engagement, reach, retention, conversion), and iterate on content strategy based on data-driven learnings.
• Identify and manage creator/influencer partnerships and community-led initiatives to extend reach and authenticity.
• Establish and maintain community guidelines, escalation processes, and crisis response workflows for reputation management across global audiences.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience creating content for brands, creators, publishers or social-first platforms
• Strong portfolio or content reel showcasing successful TikTok, Instagram (Reels/Stories), and YouTube content and campaign work.
• Deep familiarity with platform best practices, algorithmic signals, editing tools (e.g., Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut), and native platform creators tools.
• Experience with community management and social engagement tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Brandwatch, Discord, Telegram) and moderating global audiences.
• Proven ability to use analytics (Google Analytics, native platform insights, social listening) to derive actionable insights and optimize content performance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to adapt tone and messaging for diverse international audiences and cultures.
• Highly organized, able to manage multiple projects across time zones, with strong project management skills and attention to detail.
• Creative storyteller with a strong sense of visual composition, pacing, and trend awareness; comfortable iterating quickly based on performance data.
• Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or equivalent experience; multilingual skills are a plus.
