The Sales Director of New Business Development is responsible for driving revenue growth by generating new business and building strong client relationships within the hospitality industry. This role focuses on promoting tailored janitorial service solutions that meet each client’s unique facility needs. Success requires a proactive, self-motivated professional with strong communication skills and a consultative sales approach.

We’re seeking a motivated and results-driven sales professional who thrives on building relationships, generating new business, and closing deals. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of fieldwork, client interaction, and strategic selling.

Day in the Life:

  • Identify, research, and target prospective clients within the hospitality sector in your respective market
  • Generate leads through account calls (scheduled and non-scheduled), networking, in-person visits, and follow-ups, with the majority of time spent in the field.
  • Schedule and conduct client meetings, presentations, and site visits
  • Build and maintain a strong and active sales pipeline
  • Conduct on-site walkthroughs to assess client needs and recommend solutions
  • Develop and deliver compelling proposals tailored to client needs
  • Establish and maintain long-term relationships with decision-makers
  • Collaborate with Operations to ensure service delivery meets expectations
  • Gather and communicate client feedback to improve service quality
  • Present and promote services aligned with client goals and industry standards
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline in CRM systems
  • Prepare regular reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates

Requirements:

  • Proven success in B2B sales (hospitality, janitorial, adult beverage industry, facilities, service, or related industries preferred)
  • Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to build trust and long-term relationships with clients
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and strong time management skills
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and digital sales tools
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
