Our media and entertainment client in Burbank, CA is looking for a Digital Asset Coordinator to join their team on a 6 month contract. This position is 40 hours a week, and hybrid. The position is onsite Tuesday through Thursday.

The Digital Asset Coordinator supports a Brand Strategy and Marketing team by managing, organizing, and delivering digital assets with accuracy and efficiency. This role is responsible for maintaining structured asset libraries, ensuring timely distribution, and supporting internal workflows while upholding brand and compliance standards.

The Basics

Duration: 6 month freelance assignment

Hours per week: 40 hours

Location: Hybrid, onsite Tuesday through Thursday in Burbank, CA

Top 3 Required Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience managing digital assets in a professional environment
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Bridge
  • Experience using project management systems such as Smartsheet, Monday.com, or similar tools

Other Qualifications

Experience working within a media or entertainment environment is strongly preferred

Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain naming conventions, metadata, and file organization standards

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast paced environment

Effective communication and collaboration skills when working with cross functional teams

Familiarity with digital asset management systems and content workflows

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage press site coverage and facilitate asset downloads from external partners, ensuring timely updates and accurate availability
  • Upload, organize, and maintain assets within Digital Fusion and other systems, following naming conventions, metadata standards, and folder structures
  • Assist with Key Art and Title Treatment preparation using Adobe Creative Suite, including resizing and formatting assets to meet campaign requirements
  • Create Talent Cheat Sheets by compiling essential project and talent information for internal reference
  • Conduct background research on press publications to support marketing and brand initiatives
  • Pull, track, and document assets across multiple systems, ensuring version control and compliance with internal standards
  • Escalate legal clearance issues to leadership and coordinate final asset delivery to external stakeholders
  • Manage and respond to asset request tickets through platforms such as Smartsheet, Monday.com, and HappyFox to support workflow efficiency

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
