WHO YOU ARE

You are responsible for providing administrative and technical support to the People & Culture division and effectively impacting Grey Collar University, in accordance with company policy and procedures. You are also responsible for contributing to, communicating, and coordinating initiatives that support the objective.

This role contributes to the accomplishment of the company\'s people development initiatives and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, absolute accountability, quality, productivity and standards, and Objective attainment, and the ongoing development of our people, culture, leadership, and workforce in accordance to the Company\'s Manifesto and Ultimate Objective.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Responsible for researching, developing, and implementing material and metrics that meet the needs of our businesses and people, including but not limited to skill banks and industry/workforce trends.
  • Manage and maintain up to date systems, resources, and inventories.
  • Maintain the integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality of all employee records and sensitive information by upholding a high level of professionalism and absolute confidentiality.
  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the People Development function and duties.
  • Assist in structuring and organizing development activities and events.
  • Responsible for high volumes of confidential information for all entities and employees, including but not limited to food & beverage, lodging, real estate, and memberships.
  • Contribute to increasing brand awareness including that of Grey Collar University (GCU).
  • Regularly communicates necessary information including alerts to changes that may or may not affect operations and impact people development needs.
  • Collaborate with others to support work that aligns with our ultimate objective and division goals.
  • Provide support to the People & Culture division.
  • Organize and prioritize large volumes of information.
  • Responsible for retrieving, retaining, and submitting invoices.
  • Establish, maintain and update filing system for the HR department. Retrieve information from files as needed.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

WHAT WE NEED (MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS)

Education - Bachelor\'s Degree or equivalent of four years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience and/or Training
  • Minimum one to three years related Training/Development experience in hospitality and/or operations, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Training and Development systems, policies, practices, processes, and support.
  • Must be organized and meticulous with details.
  • Must be able to adapt and work under pressure in fast paced, demanding work environment through multi-tasking and prioritized multiple tasks.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, prepare routine reports and correspondence, and communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and follow through on assignments with minimal direction.
  • Willingness to learn other areas of Human Resources to provide back-up and training as needed
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, technical capacity
Technology/Equipment - Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Travel - Ability to travel as needed

Experience and/or Training - Bilingual in Spanish
