Essential Functions:

Responsible for the administration and monitoring of tax equity project financings in the Renewable Energy Finance (\"REF\") portfolio. Such activities will include evaluating and processing project related consent requests; ensuring compliance with the terms of transaction agreements; periodic project performance review; project performance forecasting and financial statement review; approving funding advances; and monitoring the credit profile of key transaction counterparties (e.g. Servicers, Project Sponsors and Off-takers).

A key element of the Portfolio Credit Officer\'s (\"PCO\'s\") role will be ongoing credit responsibility for – or assisting senior PCOs with specific tax equity structured financings. With respect to this portfolio, the PCO will also perform the monitoring requirements outlined in the REF Credit Policy and REF Guidelines. This will include the preparation of status reviews and risk rating scorecards, as well as troubled asset reports. The PCO will also assist in overall REF portfolio monitoring and reporting, including aggregating data for databases, preparing activity reporting, quality assurance activities to support financial reporting, and responding to specific information requests on the portfolio from senior Credit and Risk management and business unit partners.

In executing these duties, the PCO will interact with Credit Underwriting, Engineering Support, Pricing, Legal and Contracts officers as needed. The PCO will also have significant interaction with our clients in the context of routine administration and project/financial performance discussions, as well as to address any credit or technical issues that may develop with individual transactions or projects. These interactions may include the review and negotiation of potential transaction document modifications. It is also expected that the PCO will support senior portfolio credit officers in transaction monitoring and addressing more complex transaction situations.

Preferred Education:

Undergraduate degree in finance or accounting; MBA preferred. Engineering, mathematics or other technical degrees will be considered with an MBA.

Required Work Experience:

6 to 8 years experience in commercial banking, leasing, or finance industry in a commercial credit and/or project finance setting. Candidate\'s experience should demonstrate an aptitude for complex credit analysis, project performance analysis, industry analysis, documentation review and financial modeling.

Preferred/Desired Skills:

Analytical candidate with strong credit and risk analysis skills applicable to commercial credit and project finance transaction management.

Strong computer skills in such applications as Excel, Tableau, Power Point and Word.

Comfortable building and maintaining information databases, as well as developing associated reports.

Good aptitude for understanding elements of complex transaction structures and exposure to (or capability to learn) renewable energy generation projects. Similar aptitude for reviewing and understanding legal documents.

Ability to work efficiently and productively on several transactions or tasks at one time.

Ability to interact effectively with internal and external clients and partners.

Fully comfortable being a team player.

Clear and articulate oral and written communication skills

Results oriented; is able to meet deadlines.
